Bill works with individual male and female clients from adolescence to retirement.
While he works with some children in family treatment, he usually accepts clients from adolescence onward. Due to often complicated medication regimens, Bill does not see clients in late adulthood.
His primary method utilizes individual therapy, often with an educational or group component. His model strongly emphasizes building clients' knowledge, choices, and personal responsibility to manage their mood disorders and life challenges.
Bill works best with clients who approach treatment actively. They are willing to educate themselves about the issues facing them, and want to increase their own sense of responsibility and control for their treatment, their problems, and their lives.
